Opening of the Awasi yard has encouraged farmers to go back to cane farming because of prompt payment. Increased agricultural activity of cane has benefitted the whole community by employing cane cutters, loaders and also transporters besides farmers. Prompt payment by Kibos Sugar and Allied Industries has enabled the community in general to meet their social obligations.
